David Johnson and the Bristol Knee and Sports Injury Clinic work closely with many physiotherapists, in particular those at the two local private hospitals in Bristol.
Andrea and Charlotte ate the physiotherapists at the Chesterfield Hospital. At the Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital they understand how important it is for patients to return to full fitness as soon as possible after injury or surgery. That is why their team of highly skilled physiotherapists, with their broad array of specialist skills and clinical interests, work towards each individual reaching this goal.
Their physiotherapy services are available at both Nuffield Health Bristol Fitness & Wellbeing Centre, where we have full access to all of the facilities, as well as at Nuffield Health Bristol Hospital.
Physio services available include Hydrotherapy, Sports injury rehabilitation, Women’s health and eurological rehabilitation.
Post Surgery rehabilitation includes a Physiotherapy Exercise Programme: buy a set of five physiotherapy sessions, including the initial assessment, and get two months gym membership at Bristol Fitness & Wellbeing Centre for a package price.
The Recovery Plus programme offers post-operative patients one month’s free access to Bristol Fitness & Wellbeing Centre following their initial post-operative physiotherapy rehabilitation.
Chris, Russell and Ruth are the physio’s at the Spire Bristol Hospital physiotherapy department.
Their aims is to provide personal, professional and highly skilled diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation allowing you to recover fully and return to your normal activities within the shortest and safest period of time. They strongly believe in taking the time to fully understand the underlying cause of your pain or discomfort, and design a personalised treatment and rehabilitation programme to support you in achieving your goals.
All their staff have a wide variety of experience in the treatment of joint and soft tissue conditions, post-operative rehabilitation and sports injuries with some specialist interests including women’s health and hand therapy. They actively invest in the training and development of all their staff, keeping abreast of the latest developments in treatment and advances in technology.
The treatments used at Spire Bristol Hospital are evidence based and are continuously updated and improved. If your condition is not suitable for physiotherapy they will contact Mr. Johnson directly. Whatever your condition, our approach is to look after you and help make sure you stay healthy.
You do not need a doctor’s referral to see one of the physiotherapists but you will need to have visited your Specialist to obtain a diagnosis and treatment plan.
